It was the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania and The Undertaker took Shawn Michaels on in what would turn out to be an all-time great match. It was interesting for a multitude of reasons. Unlike their classic 12 years prior at Badd Blood 1997, the stakes were different. Moreover, the match represented two iconic performers displaying the finesse of their craft and did they deliver!
The match was near perfection and the crowd was on their feet to witness the jaw-dropping display of the two larger than life characters. The Undertaker may have been successful but what they left in the ring was something that would never be forgotten. The two greatest performers in WrestleMania history laid it all on the table and fans were evidently grateful for it.
