Rob Van Dam and Kane began teaming together in October 2002. RVD managed to bring out a completely different side in Kane, with their segments having a lot of comedy in it. It turned out to be one of those fun partnerships that no one really expected they’d enjoy as much as they did.
Kane wasn’t known to be the most calm or stable character but with RVD, he managed to not only get the job done in the ring (winning the tag team titles in the process), but also remained calm outside it. Unfortunately for RVD, the unmasking of Kane saw things go downwards as The Devil’s Favorite Demon unmasked him, putting an end to their partnership.
