#2.) vs Chris Benoit – Badd Blood 2004
Kane and Chris Benoit had outstanding chemistry together. However, Benoit didn’t have trouble having a good match. After Benoit was seemingly done with Triple H and Shawn Michaels, his focus shifted to Kane, who earned a #1 contenders match for his World Heavyweight title.
It wasn’t often that Kane had a long match but with Benoit, he almost went 18 minutes and they had an incredible match together. It’s a match that’s quite an underrated one, but for obvious reasons, isn’t really talked much about. Benoit ended up retaining after a roll-up pin.
