#4.) vs Bayley – NXT Takeover: Dallas 2016
This was a tough pick between Asuka’s WrestleMania weekend match with Ember Moon and her WrestleMania weekend match against Bayley. However, this was chosen primarily for the reaction at the end of the match.
Bayley and Asuka were the two top women of NXT at the time and there was a nice build-up to their much-anticipated match. Both superstars were hotter than ever and Bayley had already crossed 200 days as NXT Women’s Champion. It was the best vs the best in NXT’s women’s division and they had an outstanding contest.
Asuka’s undefeated streak continued as she choked out Bayley in the Asuka lock. The crowd, mostly pro-Bayley, were left in shock and awe as you could hear gasps when Asuka was announced as the new NXT Women’s Champion.
