4. Mankind
While people now him as the lovable Mick Foley, there was a time when he was one of the more menacing and disturbing characters in all of wrestling as Mankind.
He not only enjoyed dishing out pain but relished nearly as much when he was on the receiving end of the punishment. Even his mask comprised of old, dirty leather strapped together covering only a portion of his face, told the story of how demented he was.
He was dedicated to the character to the point he would pull his hair out in bunches and punch himself in the arm or leg while smiling at the scars he had happily accrued. Mankind was terrifying both for brutalizing his opponents but also because you never knew exactly the lengths he would go to to inflict pain.
