5. Doom vs. Ric Flair and Arn Anderson for the World Tag Team Titles – Halloween Havoc 1990
When you think of Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, you immediately think of two great singles wrestlers. But at this point in 1990, neither was doing much so they team up to challenge for the NWA World Tag Team Titles. The champions were one of the most underrated tag teams of its time in Doom, made up of Ron Simmons and Butch Reed with their manager Teddy Long.
The teams worked great with one another with Flair and Anderson resorting to cheating tactics with the younger, stronger Doom duo using their power to their advantage. Maybe the only bad part of the match was that it finished in a double count out with the champions moving on to another opponents afterwards.
