“You know who I am, but you don’t know why I’m here“. Those were the first words that Scott Hall spoke in WCW. He alluded to the fact that a major change was coming. It’s the perfect example of an impactful promo with as little words as possible. It created a huge shockwave to the WCW Universe and along with Kevin Nash, they would be termed as “The Outsiders”.
They would then rope in Hulk Hogan to their faction, with Hogan turning heel in one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history. The group would go on to be known as the NWO and things were about to change forever.
