#1.) The reasons why he didn’t sign with WWE
There are two major reasons why he didn’t sign with WWE when WCW was finished. The first reason was that it was during the end of the Attitude Era and WWE wasn’t exactly PG at the time. It went against his Christian beliefs and was against his values.
The second reason he stated publicly was WWE’s creative mishandling of Booker T. Sting was supposed to face Kurt Angle at WrestleMania X8 but the deal didn’t fall through. It seemed like he didn’t feel he would be used right by WWE. And frankly speaking, who could blame him?
