When Jinder Mahal went for his first WWE tryout, he happened to be in the company of Eugene and Tyler Breeze. He was told to wrestle three matches and his first match was against Eugene while his third match was against Tyler Breeze. Mahal himself admitted that he was drained out by the time the third match had come.
He was then told to call the third match with Breeze, assuming that they were looking to test Breeze’s selling. Demotivated, he didn’t give everything he had and only realized later that they were looking at his offense and not Breeze’s selling. He failed his first tryout.
