#4.) The passing of the torch from Harley Race
Harley Race isn’t given enough credit, but he truly made Ric Flair the star that he would become. The two proved to have excellent chemistry together. The height of their feud happened at Starrcade 1983, when Flair defeated Harley Race to once again become NWA World Champion.
Though Starrcade 1983 wasn’t the best edition by any means, it was a historically significant one. Flair and Race would have a few unrecognized title switches on house shows before Flair would reign long for two years.
