#5.) vs “Macho Man” Randy Savage – WrestleMania VIII
Ric Flair was a newcomer to WWE and within months was a Royal Rumble winner and the WWE Champion. He would get involved in a heated feud with the “Macho Man” Randy Savage. The feud was personal, with Flair having claimed that he had a prior relationship with Miss Elizabeth. He even doctored photos of he and Elizabeth together to try and get inside Savage’s head.
In the first of a “Double main event”, Savage would beat Flair for the title in an outstanding contest in front of 60,000 people. The stadium was electric and completely behind Savage, who looked to get one over the nasty Flair.
