Not many people know this, but Carmella happens to be a second generation wrestler. Her father, Paul VanDale was signed to WWE briefly in the early 90s and made quite a few appearances, acting as an enhancement talent. While WWE usually uses the “Second generation” term to promote superstars, they likely don’t use it for her as she isn’t from wrestling royalty like the Flairs or the Hart family.
Regardless, it’s interesting to know that her father once worked for the very same company. He never reached the levels of success that his daughter did, but one can be sure that he watches her career closely.
