#3.) vs Shawn Michaels – RAW 2005
This was quite an emotional one. It was the night after Eddie Guerrero’s passing and as you can imagine, the entire locker room and fanbase was devastated. In the tribute episode to Guerrero on RAW, Mysterio faced Shawn Michaels in an interpromotional match-up. It was the first meeting between the two and unfortunate circumstances for a dream match.
Regardless, as it was said, Eddie would have wanted the show to go on and that’s exactly what happened. The two put everything on the line and Mysterio wound up beating Michaels clean in the middle of the ring. The two embraced after the match and Mysterio looked up to the sky, paying tribute to Guerrero while crying.
