#4.) An epic debut
Rey Mysterio had debuted on SmackDown in 2002 with much hype surrounding him. His first opponent in WWE would be none other than Chavo Guerrero Jr., someone Mysterio was all too familiar with. He delivered in a big way, showcasing his masterful Luchador technique. Everything about the match was incredible, with Mysterio using extremely innovative offense To Chavo’s credit, he made Mysterio look like a million bucks.
Mysterio, as expected was victorious and fans knew it was the beginning of something special. It was the start of the SmackDown Six era that saw the brand thrive and eventually beat RAW in the ratings.
