Callihan’s run with WWE wasn’t a successful one. He had a hacker gimmick that he felt wasn’t properly understood. On an episode of Talk Is Jericho, Callihan revealed that Triple H had given him a call to repackage him and make him a part of Sanity. He said:
He wanted me to do this group based off, what’s the movie? Smoking Aces. The three crazy brothers, and I started pitching ideas. This later became SAnitY. It was meant to be me, Sawyer Fulton and Marcus Louis, who’s doing this crazy gimmick.
While one can’t predict how he would have made a difference to Sanity, the later 4-person version of the faction seemed best. Sanity was an idea that Triple H was really invested in.
