This was the incident that sparked the major controversy with regards to Callihan. In a post-match beatdown, Callihan was supposed to hit the chair on Edwards’ body. Instead, he accidentally missed and it whacked Edwards’ face. That severely damaged Eddie Edwards and became the big talk of the wrestling world.
This was also what Callihan used to fuel his heel character, being unapologetic about his actions (although that’s unlikely to be the actual case out of character).
