#4.) Dethroning Kevin Steen & El Generico
Around 2009, The American Wolves began chasing Kevin Steen and El Generico in an attempt to capture the ROH Tag Team Championship. While they were unsuccessful on numerous attempts, they finally dethroned the champions in an ROH taping with a “Tables are legal” stipulation match.
They would go on to have an incredible run as tag team champions, where they defended the title multiple times. Fun fact: Despite injuring his elbow in a match against Kevin Steen, Eddie Edwards still participated in an outstanding ladder match one day later! Now that’s toughness and dedication!
