#5.) vs Christopher Daniels – ROH Honor Takes Center Stage Chapter 1
The match was originally scheduled to be Roderick Strong vs Christopher Daniels, but Edwards had won the title at Manhattan Mayhem IV. His first defence came up against none other than The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels. The two already had one match prior that ended in a 30-minute time-limit draw.
The show was quite a heavy one so by the time the main event had come. Despite this, Daniels and Edwards did an excellent job to get the crowd invested in the match. They did this by working slow and methodically int he beginning, giving the audience time to breathe. The intensity would turn up minute by minute and in a half an hour war, Edwards made his first successful defence. This would also set up a major heel turn for Daniels.
