Joseph Park would stick around past the Slammiversary XV PPV and become Grado’s attorney to help him stay in the United States. However, this promo would show that Park had actually been taking advantage of Grado the whole time, turning Park heel for the first time and leading to 48th and, so far, final Monster’s Ball match to date. The stakes were high and the performances were pretty much perfect to sell the match in this promo spot. In particular, the moment when Park removes his glasses, drops the register of his voice, and cements the turn on Grado is quite well done.
