Doomsday Chamber of Blood – Hard Justice – 8/12/07
The Doomsday Chamber of Blood Match from Hard Justice ’07 might not be the most spectacular match on Abyss’ resume, but it does have one of the sicker moments in TNA/IMPACT history. Christian Cage, AJ Styles, and Tyson Tomko squared off against the team of Sting, “The Punisher” Andrew Martin (“Test” in WWE), and Abyss. Early in the bout, Cage took a piece of broken glass and graphically ran it across Abyss’ forehead.
“The Monster” was a bloody mess in no time, but Cage didn’t stop there. He would rake the glass across Abyss’ arm and split him open there as well. The punishment he absorbs in this match and those moments are reason enough for it to make this list. Even more remarkable perhaps is the victory from Abyss over AJ Styles after a Black Hole Slam into a pile of broken glass.
