Monster’s Ball Match – Bound For Glory – 10/18/09
Any match pitting “the Monster” against the hardcore legend Mick Foley is sure to cause an audience to brace themselves for violence and insane amounts of punishment. By the end of the Monster’s Ball match with Foley, Abyss was bleeding from both arms and his forehead in what t is easily one of his bloodiest matches.
Stevie Richards, the guest referee, even takes a trip into the thumbtacks courtesy of Abyss. In fact, the finish comes after Abyss plants Foley on a barbed wire board with the Black Hole Salm and then “the Monster” uses an unconscious Richards’ to count the pinfall for a decisive victory over the legendary Foley.
