Monster’s Ball Match – Bound For Glory – 10/10/10
Bound For Glory ’10 was the site of one of the most brutal, hard-hitting matches in the Monster’s career. Abyss had bloodier matches, to be sure, but the sheer physicality of his Monster’s Ball match with Rob Van Dam is worth noting.
Both men absorb extreme amounts of punishment and a razor-wire board comes into play as do thumbtacks and Abyss’ signature weapon: Janice. In fact, it was Janice that led to Abyss’ downfall in the match. RVD smashes him in the midsection with the nail covered board and then hits the Five Star Frog Splash to secure the victory.
