#1.) Winning the NXT Championship
Tommaso Ciampa had decided to shift his focus from Johnny Gargano to Aleister Black in an attempt to capture the NXT Championship. The two had an incredible match and Johnny Gargano tried to cost Ciampa the match, only to accidentally attack Black and inadvertently help Ciampa become NXT Champion.
It was the culmination of Ciampa’s career so far and he may not have been loved but he certainly was deserving of that NXT Championship win.
