#2.) Winning the NXT Tag Team Championship – NXT Takeover: Toronto 2016
DIY and The Revival had one of the hottest feuds in WWE and after an unsuccessful first attempt at the tag titles at Takeover: Brooklyn II, DIY was given one more chance to defeat their rivals. This time around, it was a 2-out-of-3 falls match.
What ensued was storytelling at its finest. With the crowd being hot and fully invested, the match had energy that’s rarely ever seen anymore. The two teams put everything on the line and gave the WWE Universe the undisputed match of the year in 2016 (in WWE).
It was an emotional moment for DIY as they simultaneously submitted The Revival to become tag team champions. The crowd erupted and it made for one of the greatest moments in NXT history.
