Goldust’s 5 Greatest Matches

#2.) w/ Dusty Rhodes & The Nasty Boys vs The Stud Stable – WarGames, Fall Brawl 1994

It was a sweet moment for Dustin Rhodes as he teamed with Dusty Rhodes to take on The Stud Stable. The match exceeded expectations and Dustin Rhodes was undoubtedly the standout of the night. He began the match with Arn Anderson. The biggest pop, however, belonged to his father Dusty Rhodes, who was the final entrant into the WarGames match.

The story revolved around the fact that Colonel Robert Parker, a manager was forced into the match. The truth is, by mid-90s, WarGames matches had worn down and their quality had drastically reduced. Thankfully, this match served as an exception and it over-delivered. The finish saw Dusty Rhodes have the figure-four leglock synched on Colonel Parker while the Nasty Boys dropped elbows on him.

Fun little fact: Dusty Rhodes revealed on the WarGames DVD that Colonel Parker had diarrhea at the end of the match!
