Finn Balor in his time in WWE has captivated audiences around the globe. From his debut in NXT to his incredible run with the yellow brand, fans knew that he brought in something very special to the company. Triple H‘s belief in Balor was evident, as he wound up becoming the longest reigning NXT Champion in history at 292 days.
His extensive run in New Japan Pro Wrestling proved to be an incredible foundation for him. Balor may not have fit WWE’s old requirement of having the conventional “look” of a top superstar, but in Japan, he would hone his craft, develop his own character and think outside the box, as he would paint his body into different personas, making him stand out.
