#4.) The Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff, Dusty Rhodes & Paul Ellering vs The Four Horsemen – Great American Bash 1987
The Great American Bash in 1987 had three events out of which the first two WarGames matches took place. On July 31st, the second match was what truly made history. The match was what set the tone for years to come. True to its name, it saw violence and bloodshed. Competitors were colored in crimson red.
The psychology of the match was off the charts, with incredible double-team work being used throughout. The finish saw Paul Ellering pass on his wristband full of spikes to Animal, who used it by pressing it against the face of War Machine (Big Boss Man), forcing him to submit.
The match truly set the bar for WarGames matches in the future.
