Ever seen someone get slapped so hard that their sunglasses fall off? Well, that’s exactly what happened to Batista in March 2014. In the build to WrestleMania 30, Batista was set to go head-to-head with Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, with a third person set to be added.
Batista accused Randy Orton of sucking up to Stephanie McMahon, saying that she had been drooled on before. He provoked Stephanie McMahon with one more line about “being drooled on a lot” before the Stephanie McMahon slapped the living daylights out of him. He got slapped so hard that his sunglasses fell off and Randy Orton, standing right in front of them, visibly lost it.
He couldn’t control his laughter and it made for an absolutely hilarious segment. Probably not as hilarious for Batista, who felt the wrath of the Authority figure.
