In the second-ever Women’s main event in WWE history. It was the highest-profile women’s match in WWE till date and they put everything on the line as Trish Stratus defended her Women’s Championship. The scariest spot of the match saw Lita hit a suicide dive. The angle was dangerous and she nearly broke her neck, but a slight tilt of the head saved her.
Regardless, she showed her toughness as she continued the match and stole the show. It was a career-defining performance for the two and cemented their legacies as the trailblazers of their era. It’s no wonder they’ve influenced a whole generation.
