That’s right. Before she joined the WWE, Lita was a part of Extreme Championship Wrestling. She was approached by Paul Heyman in 1999 and joined the company, where she went under the name ‘Miss Congeniality’. She was the on-screen girlfriend of Dany Doring and even went by the name Angelica.
Her run, however, lasted five months as her trainer Dory Funk Jr. compiled footage of her and sent it to WWE. She was then signed by the company and departed in short order. She had impressed Funk greatly, being the only female among 23 students in her class.
