It was Trish Stratus’ final match in WWE and who better to ride off with than her greatest rival, Lita? It was well-known that Stratus was leaving WWE and she looked for one last moment of glory in her hometown of Toronto.
It was a fitting retirement for Stratus, who had a fairytale ending to her career. The two put on a clinic and at the end, Trish Stratus won the Women’s Championship for a record-7th time. It was her last hurrah as she rode off into the sunset. Lita would soon follow suit just months later.
