In another historic main event, Trish Stratus defended the Women’s Championship against Lita on December 2004 on an episode of RAW. This was without a doubt the highest-profile Women’s match in WWE up to that point and the two women put everything on the line in the opportunity given to them.
Lita nearly suffered a major injury scare when she hit a mistimed suicide dive on Trish Stratus. The match saw Lita capture her second Women’s Championship and proved in every sense why the two are considered the biggest trailblazers in WWE Women’s history.
