It was an episode of Saturday Night and DDP took on the young Cruiserweight Eddie Guerrero. While the match was not of much significance on the long run, the finish is what has made it a highlight reel for years.
In one of the most innovative ways you’ll ever see, DDP took Eddie Guerrero in powerbomb position, flipped him over and hit a Diamond Cutter mid-air. It takes 2 to tango and Guerrero should be given huge credit for making DDP look like a million bucks. It was a testament to how truly talented he was, years before he got widespread recognition.
