#5.) Halloween Havoc 1998
It was Halloween Havoc and Goldberg was on top of the world, with his undefeated streak running strong and a dominant run as WCW World Heavyweight Champion. DDP challenged Goldberg in the main event, and blowing the roof off the place, the two had what many considered to be the match of the year in 1998.
Sadly enough, due to time constraints, the PPV was cut-off from cable by the end of the co-main event, so WCW was forced to put this match on the following Nitro. It paid off big time as brought huge ratings. As you can see above, DDP countered a jackhammer attempt into a beautiful, slick Diamond Cutter.
Though he didn’t win the match, the pop in the arena was massive and despite Goldberg’s rising popularity, people truly loved DDP as well.
