#3.) Lost his mother at the age of 12
The Hardy Boyz have credited their mother Ruby Moore Hardy for their athleticism and physicality. Their mother was described as the most perfect and sweetest human being out there. She also happened to be a champion bowler. In 1986, she was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer and battled it for a full year before tragically passing away. Her husband and the Hardy Boyz were right beside her when it happened.
Matt was only aged 12 while Jeff was 9. It must have been an extremely tough situation for them to deal with, especially for their father, who raised them as a single parent.
