#1.) SummerSlam 1992 – 80,000 people
In one of the largest attended events in WWE history, WWE went to Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom. Many believe that this attendance surpassed that of WrestleMania 3. Everything about this show was larger than life and the main event saw Bret Hart defend the Intercontinental Championship against the clear crowd favorite – The British Bulldog. The two would go on to have a career-defining match, with Davey Boy Smith pinning Hart’s legs to the mat, winning the Intercontinental title in the process.
There have been few shows and moments like this. To date, it remains WWE’s largest show outside of North America.
