#3.) Reuniting with Lana
In 2015, it was rumored that WWE was very high on Lana and wanted to make her the face of the women’s division, so they separated her pairing with Rusev on-screen. She turned babyface and then began a romantic angle with Dolph Ziggler, while Rusev aligned with Summer Rae. During a rather lackluster feud, Lana suffered an injury and was sidelined for a brief period.
The storyline was scrapped when Lana accidentally posted a photo of her and Rusev, with her showing off an engagement ring. After TMZ made it go viral, any plans for the storyline was ended immediately. Lana returned, later on, this time aligned with Rusev once again. It all worked out for good and everyone was happy.
