B3cca Feels MLW And Janai Kai Are Dodging Her Over Her Earned Women’s Title Shot

B3cca‘s chase toward MLW gold is not over.

At MLW Fury Road 2023, B3cca defeated Maki Itoh to solidify her status as number one contender to the MLW Women’s World Featherweight Championship. Unfortunately, the international pop sensation never got to cash in her shot, as she suffered a knee injury ahead of her scheduled title match against Delmi Exo at MLW Slaughterhouse.

WrestleZone’s Ella Jay recently spoke with B3cca, who is now back in action, but still waiting for that title match she earned over a year ago.

“I am [interested in facing current MLW Women’s Featherweight Champion Janai Kai], B3cca said. “I don’t know if it’s Janai that’s scared or MLW, I don’t know. Maybe they know that if I do get the title shot, I’m going to win. And I think that maybe for some reason they’re nervous about that.

“Maybe Janai doesn’t want me to write a diss track on her like I did with Maki,” B3cca continued. “I know Maki was really devastated. She really felt dissed, and rightfully so. It was a devastating track. I could understand why Janai would be worried about that, worried about the music, worried about losing her title. I feel like they’re dodging me right now, so when they’re ready, I’m ready.”

Following B3cca’s withdrawal from MLW Slaughterhouse last year, Delmi Exo defended her title against a “phantom challenger” that was later revealed as Janai Kai. Exo put up a valiant effort against “The Kick Demon,” but it wasn’t enough to escape Kai’s Dragon Sleeper. As such, MLW crowned Kai as the new MLW Women’s Featherweight Champion. Kai has since held the title for over 400 days.
