“The Arm Collector” Jessica Troy prepares to battle “The Violence Artist.”
On October 12, Jessica Troy will face a unique challenge as she defends her PWA Heavyweight Championship against her long-time best friend, Charli Evans, at PWA Colosseum. Additionally, this encounter will simultaneously serve as a first-round matchup in the 2024 PWA Colosseum tournament. During an interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Jessica Troy opened up about the upcoming match with Evans, which she foresees as a “banger.”
“It’s been such a weird build up to this match because normally it’s in my brain. In the front of my brain, always I’m thinking about what I’m going to do and what’s going to happen, whereas this one, I’m not,” Troy said. “I’m really just not stressed about it because I know Charli and I can go out there and we’re just going to, we keep saying that we’re going to have a banger, so we’re going to have a banger.
“We just have such good chemistry in and out of the ring that I’m not worried about it whatsoever. It’s really nice to go into such a big match, if not like the biggest match of my career, so relaxed almost. In saying that, we’re just under four weeks out [at the time of recording], so speak to me like two or one week out, I’m sure I’ll be stressed then. The buildup has been a lot more easy and nice almost because we’ve been talking about it. We’re making plans.”
