Rachel Armstrong Can’t Thank Su Yung Enough For Taking Care Of Her During European Tour

Rachel Armstrong reflects on her European travels.

In March 2024, Rachel Armstrong headed across the pond for a mini tour of Europe. There, Armstong wrestled for the UK’s Pro-Wrestling EVE and Germany’s Westside Xtreme Wrestling, both of which were promotional debuts for her. During a recent interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Armstong recalled her proudest in-ring performance of the tour.

“I think the most proud match I had that weekend was with Safire Reed in the wXw Wild Card,” Armstrong said. “That girl is the sweetest thing you could ever. She took real good care of me, too, everywhere I went. She’s such a sweet competitor. She’s so dedicated and just loves what she does. I think we really had a good match in our little opening thing.”

As Armstong alluded to, the faceoff between her and Safire Reed, a former EVE Champion, took place at wXw’s We Love Wrestling: Wildcard Edition event on March 9. Earlier in the day, Armstong battled Germany’s Baby Allison on the wXw 16 Carat Gold pre-show, in which the latter emerged victorious.

Giving Thanks To Su Yung

In addition to marking her EVE and wXw debuts, Armstong’s tour also marked her time in Europe without her classmates. During college, Armstong took her studies abroad to Germany. For this occasion, though, her European travels were largely accompanied by former Impact Knockouts Champion Su Yung.

“I had the most fun over there, I actually went to London with Su Yung,” Armstrong said. “I was so nervous, I was so scared because that was the first time of me going actually by myself. I went with my classmates before. She took such good care of me, she made sure I had everything I needed and that I got to everywhere I needed to go. She took me to all these cool places.”

“I’ll never be able to thank her enough for how comforted she made me feel,” she added. “She doesn’t understand how much stress she took off my shoulders.”
