Ethan Page is a native Canadian but there’s not much he loves more than a good old-fashioned American holiday.
During a recent interview with WrestleZone, Ethan Page took some time to preview his plans for Thanksgiving. Page now resides in the United States and he said he’s definitely in the holiday spirit.
“If I had a USA flag to wave around right now, I would. There ain’t much more I love than a good old-fashioned American holiday. No joke, just on Halloween alone — I have loved Halloween my whole life. This was my first Halloween in America. There was ten times the amount of kids that came to the door knocking for candy,” Page explained, “there’s ten times the amount of kids on the streets going to get it. So for my family and my kids to be here, to be able to celebrate so much bigger and I have a bunch of family here, [it’s been great].”
Page was in action on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite against Ricky Starks but he said he was taking advantage of having Thursday off — by choice and a bit of force.
“My Aunt Susanna already told me that I have to eat like crap on Thanksgiving. It’s not a choice. I realize that I’m a famous celebrity on television but in a house with my family, I still get told what to do,” Page noted. “So I’m going to eat like crap on Thanksgiving or someone’s going to whip my ass. So I’ll definitely be crushing some food on Thursday right after Dynamite.”
