Isenberg Reacts: What WWE SummerSlam Should Look Like From The Red Side

Kurt’s Conundrum

We will find out what has been going on with Kurt Angle over the past few months tonight. Rumors are circulating that it is going to involve Stephanie McMahon and somehow they are in a love affair. I find that a little ridiculous, considering this isn’t the 90’s anymore and we all know that her and Triple H are married and running the ship. What about an involvement with Dixie Carter? Again, I find that ridiculous as well and makes no sense since not many people even watched or cared about TNA. WWE has only used TNA one time and it was on Kurt Angle’s WWE Network special last week. I just do not find the reason why fans would care. So, where does that leave us?

Bill Pritchard, who works for WZ and other avenues in his life, tweeted something that really interested me. He mentioned that the reveal could be that is cleared for return to the ring. “Vince was on the phone and he might lose family due to health risks in-ring.”

Now, that interests me. Think of the buzz if Kurt Angle is able to return to the ring but the General Manager of Smackdown Live isn’t. Both men have had their health issues and this would create an enormous buzz around Daniel Bryan potentially returning, as well as the imminent return of one of the best performers to enter the squared circle. You can have Angle find his next feud, potentially one with Triple H for power over WWE RAW, while Daniel Bryan is there to blast them on social media until his voice is heard.

There are so many ways that WWE could go about, but I love Bill’s idea here. I think Vince and Kurt are more of a logical and intelligent decision than some sort of love affair that is not believable by any means. Could they actually pull off Triple H vs. Kurt Angle at SummerSlam or would they want more time for that to brew?
