Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “Attacks, Beatings and Chaos”

Braun and Roman Have Magic

They understand how to work. Braun and Roman are so damn good together, where every week is something similar but feels fresh and exciting. Braun doesn’t need to say or do anything more than he already is. Roman Reigns can get a reaction by showing his fist or cracking a smile. The money in there in both men and WWE RAW featured another attack from Braun. He tossed Roman Reigns into the Ambulance wall and then into the back while driving away. Something as simple as this really excited me because both men should be in line to fight Lesnar or Joe next. I would not mind all four men in one match at SummerSlam, but I do think Braun is the biggest star here. They have to use him to defeat Lesnar and defeat him clean. They have something very special with him and they know this. Now is the time to go full throttle.

The Boss Banks on the Opportunity

Sasha Banks became the new number one contender to Alexa Bliss and her RAW Women’s Championship by surviving a Gauntlet Match. Nia Jax cruised throughout the match, eliminating Bayley, Mickie James, Dana Brooke and Emma. Familiar foes did battle and a tired and slower Nia Jax could not keep up with a fresh Banks. Banks found an opportunity hitting a Shining Wizard and getting Nia down with a modified Bank Statement that earned the submission victory.

This was a really solid main event, even though I would have ended with Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe. Regardless, Alexa needed a viable opponent and Sasha is the best fit. If I am WWE, I actually hold it off until SummerSlam, but I know that will not happen. Many wonder when Nia will get an opportunity to be champion and I really do not know. Her size is such a big blessing and a big curse to her.

Out of all of the women involved, there really is not one weak woman. I do think all of these women give depth and options for the fall, a time where you will see more women get chances at competing for the gold. For now, Boss vs. Bliss is the absolute correct decision.
