With the announcement of Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe vs. Bray Wyatt in an Extreme Rules Fatal Five Way match to determine who will face Brock Lesnar next, the main event featured The Eater of Worlds and The Architect. Early on, it was all about each man trying to figure his counterpart out. Seth tried to speed up, but Bray made sure he was never out of control and in his own world. Bray focused on the knee, as we have seen since Seth’s injury, but Rollins battled back with a flurry of offensive moves. When Seth seemed to have Wyatt right where he wanted, Samoa Joe attacked. Joe and Wyatt beat down Rollins until Wyatt hit Sister Abigail on Joe and Seth. The former World Champion kneels at their bodies to end WWE RAW in dramatic fashion.

A really good main event and the spotlight and focus is FINALLY back on the WWE Universal Championship. Five men, all very different, will do battle and the next 2-3 weeks will give us 2 matches a night of solid wrestling. You can make a case for all men, so I will.

Bray Wyatt vs. Brock Lesnar should have been at WrestleMania 32. Bray has been world champ, but lost to a guy that got destroyed by Lesnar. Wyatt is big and physical enough to put on a fight with Lesnar.

Samoa Joe is a guy that people have been wanting to see lock up with Brock Lesnar. A rare combination of athleticism, speed and size gives Joe a great chance to be perceived as a guy who can choke out or beat Brock.

Roman Reigns is exactly who everyone thinks he is and more. It’s been done, but the door has always been left open for a continuation of this feud.

Finn Balor is the least believable, but his Demon King character can try and make this intriguing. Brock hasn’t faced someone with a gimmick quite like this.

Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar at WWE Battleground was good. Seth has gained some size and is stronger than before. He is more believable than most, even though him weighing 65 pounds less than Lesnar will always be an obstacle.

THANK GOD that we had some progression or mention of the WWE Universal Championship.

Options. WWE RAW has options, but which one is the best? Also, do we think that Braun Strowman’s injury isn’t exactly going to be “six months?”
