The Power of The Undertaker
The main event on WWE RAW featured Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman. The action picked up when Reigns goes for the drive by but Strowman takes him out with a clothesline. Strowman spinebusters Reigns and applies a rear chin lock. A Corner splash by Strowman and then Roman Reigns catches Strowman with a big kick. Reigns hits multiple clotheslines in the corner and then hits a Samoan Drop. He hits a drive by and then tries to keep him grounded. Reigns is thrown into the barricade. Back in the ring, Reigns hits a Superman punch and wants another. Braun Strowman catches him in mid-air. Reigns reverses that into the Superman punch and yells for a Spear. The lights go out and the Undertaker appears in the ring. Undertaker hits a chokeslam on Braun Strowman, turns around and gets planted with a Spear from Roman Reigns. This ends WWE RAW on a hot note.
A few things here…
- Roman Reigns is really good. The guy can work with anyone and showcases his talents in matches like this, like AJ Styles and like Seth Rollins. Stop complaining about him in the ring.
- Braun Strowman’s progression over the past six months is stellar. He will be world champion in 2017.
- The Undertaker, a guy that has been doing this forever, still has an incredible connection with the crowd and draw where everyone gets excited when his gong hits. We have seen this story so many times, but it seems to be fresh every year. His match with Roman Reigns is going to be very interesting and I wonder if Braun Strowman is going to be involved somehow. All in all, The Undertaker still has it. Even if they ask him for 5 appearances a year, they all MATTER.
