Braun’s ‘Destruction Continues
Another night on WWE RAW and another sight of destruction. The Shining Stars, Darren Young and Bob Backlund laid waste until Seth Rollins came out for his match. Rollins hit a few springboard knees to try and knock the big man down. Strowman rams himself into the post and then Rollins kicks him a few times. Seth connects with a blockbuster from the top. Braun reverses a Pedigree into a back body drop and Sami Zayn’s music hits. He blindsides the big man and Chris Jericho comes out after the match. He hits two Codebreakers on Seth Rollins.
Tonight was a very positive night for Braun Strowman. He was CHEERED by the Chicago crowd for destroying the tag team match and during his fight with Seth Rollins. That is hard to do, considering how so many people classify him as “just another big man.” He is not and he is thriving on actually developing a personality, some charisma and some slight and dry humor. His actions against Rollins were really solid, but you still know there is so much untapped potential. As for his feud with Sami, a Last Man Standing match next week will certainly intrigue me, even if it much slower and methodical that regular contests.
Anderson and Gallows defeated Goldust and R-Truth
Before this match, Bayley gave Goldust a small teddy bear dressed in polka dots, symbolizing his late father. Anderson comes over and rips the head off of it. This leads to the match, one that was controlled by the faces until Anderson is able to roll up Goldust for the win. Not too much to detail here aside from a win for Anderson and Gallows and the continued pause button being pressed on their push. They must do something with them soon. Yes, they have been here for 10 months but they deserve a higher profiled feud and more opportunities at the tag team titles.
