The champ is here. Alexa Bliss comes out and begins to talk about beating Becky Lynch. Lynch makes her way to the ring and says she cannot stand here seeing Bliss as the leader of Smackdown Live Women’s Division. Alexa says this is not a new era, but this is her era. Becky wants he rematch, so Alexa takes off the jacket and title. She ends up rolling to the outside and heads up the ramp.

It should have been a longer amount of gloating and bragging, but they let Becky Lynch get her noise in before Alexa trumps her. Alexa can be really good. She is a believable, yet smaller, competitor who thrives on being booed. She loves adapting her speech to a crowd reaction and seems like a natural in the ring and on the microphone. Invest yourself in these two women, two different personalities that know how to continue a rivalry. It was simple, yet effective tonight for both women. A Royal Rumble match is in store.
