Isenberg Reacts: WWE Smackdown Live “Is It Finally Time For The Wyatt Family?

The Wyatt Family Control Smackdown Live

It started with a backstage segment, where Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt ordered Luke Harper to finish off Kane. Well, that did not happen. Luke Harper suffered a loss to Kane.

The main event would be American Alpha vs. Wyatt and Orton, with the winner facing Heath Slater and Rhyno at WWE TLC. The match was excellent, featuring the first really complex and dramatic tag team match for Chad Gable and Jason Jordan. JJ was ready to roll, hitting suplexes and big dropkicks onto both opponents. He would miss a spear into the corner, hitting the post. The lights went out and Luke Harper appeared. This was just enough for Randy and Bray to get the upper hand and take out American Alpha.

As much as I liked this main event, I begin to question it. Why did Luke Harper lose? Why is Smackdown Live pushing Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton so fast in the tag team picture? Is there a reason behind this? I hope that WWE continues to develop The Wyatt Family into something dominant with these three guys, but can we at least try to make Randy Orton look like he belongs with them? Do something different with him, please.

At the end of Smackdown, I was more interested in WWE TLC, which is surprising considering there were only three matches and one was a meaningless Kane match. They have talent, but they are not a really deep show. After Sunday, I expect fresh feuds and new faces to appear heading into 2017.
