Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “Survivor Series Needs Big Stipulation”

The Love for Bayley

bayley

The Women’s team come out and talk about their match at Survivor Series. Well, they try to. Charlotte could not get a sentence out due to the insane amount of Bayley chants. Bayley also cannot get much out, but Sasha Banks finally is able to get a few sentences in before a six women tag team match occurs.

Jax gets in the ring and runs over Sasha Banks. Nia continues to dominate and Banks finally gets to Bayley. She clears the ring with clotheslines and a splash into the corner. Charlotte gets distracted by Banks, which allows Bayley to hit the Bayley to Belly on Charlotte for the win. A win that was needed for Bayley and another reason why she is such a star. Bayley is so special and unique over every other woman in WWE. Her appeal is addicting and the crowd certainly knows how to takeover a segment or two.

Tonight was more about Charlotte feeling superior over everyone else and the loss brings her down to earth for maybe a week. I was skeptical how they would all work together, but it is working. Also, let’s relax on another 15 minute segment of talking. It drags on and on and on and on.

A Mistake Made

Sami Zayn became Number One Contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship and will face Dolph Ziggler at Survivor Series. Zayn picked up a surprising win over Rusev and will go to Toronto. I feel liek this was a mistake. An open challenge should be a surprise, a wow factor, at that very moment. Why would WWE RAW and the writers think this would have more of an impact than the prior? Since both men are on separate shows, it really makes no sense for you to try and build a 2 week feud.

Remember when Alberto Del Rio returned and beat John Cena in a United States Championship open challenge? Even if it was for one night and one pop, this could have made someone feel important and special. This was a missed opportunity in my mind.
