Isenberg Reacts: WWE RAW “History Is Made”

Will Sheamus and Cesaro Become Champions?

wwe-tag-team-title-social

Acting like brothers, Sheamus and Cesaro continue to bicker and continue to try and one up the other. From arriving to the arena and then competing in a match against some jobbers, both men continue to be a comical relief. It might not be EXACTLY what we had in mind a month ago, but I am liking it. I think Sheamus and Cesaro could make for an incredible tag team, but wouldn’t it work better on Smackdown? I feel RAW has Enzo and Cass, The New Day, Gallows and Anderson and Jeri-KO that are going to get pushed more. I hope I am wrong, but I want this to be successful.

Cesaro and Sheamus could pull this little gimmick off for a few months, potentially leading into November and December. I just wonder what happens if they DO NOT win the titles. We have already had seven matches in as many weeks from them, so how would them NOT winning the titles do anything for them in the long run? Like I said, I enjoy this but am fearful the end of the path will be empty and they will be back to where they were two months ago. I am going to try and enjoy the ride, but even a bumpy road is hard to enjoy with the best of company.

Tony Nese defeated Rich Swann

The Cruiserweight Division might have been put on notice by Tony Nese tonight. A guy with all of the tools to be successful, he and Rich Swann gave us a solid match with little time to work. I really think both men, for completely different reasons, could be a big part of the division for years to come. Swann is a guy that is extremely entertaining in a New Day of Enzo and Cass way. Tony Nese is a fighter like a smaller Lashley. He is cut from stone, is athletic and has a rare strength to his figure. Add in Neville and a few others who are brought through the NXT ranks and you have an excellent division with depth and talent.
